The lemonade war by author Jacqueline Davies is a fun, exciting, brother sister war. It starts in a hot, dry, sweaty day with a few days of summer break left. Our main characters Jessie and Evan are brothers and sister and Evan is a 4th grader who is constantly bored during the summer and his super smart sister who is skipping a grade to join Evan in 4th grade and Evan is not happy. But they both had lemonade stands in common and Jessie loved to do the stand with Evan but Evan was annoyed with her.
